Memphis Motorsports Park is hitting the auction block Tuesday.

Morris Auction Group will be auctioning the former NASCAR and NHRA racing facility Tuesday, Dec. 14, for its current owner, Dover Motorsports Inc.

The bidding begins at 10 a.m., with bidder registration starting at 8 a.m.

The property is at 5500 Victory Lane, just off Fite Road in North Memphis.

The auction, which is open to the public, will include the entire racing facility including the racetrack, drag strip, road course, all equipment, tools, furniture and other personal property.

The real estate will be offered in two tracts. Tract one contains 115 acres and the former NASCAR racetrack. Tract two contains 227 acres and the former NHRA drag strip and 1.77-mile road course.

The auction's personal property includes pickup trucks, Kawasaki Mules, tractors, restaurant equipment, vehicles, office furniture, shop tools and equipment, and much more.

All items will be available for preview today from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
